Your Feature Request / Idea
Now this idea/dinosaurs may have been suggested before, so I apologise for any repetition.
Out of the 48 real species in the game, only fourteen are from the Jurassic period, and the rest are from the Cretaceous. I think they could do to add some more Jurassic species into the game. They could either just release a dinosaur pack that adds a handful of new species, or they could release it as a new story-based DLC.
Potential Story: Cabot informs you that guests have felt a little disappointed that there aren't enough Jurassic species in the parks called "Jurassic World" and he suggests that a new park (a new location) is devoted to new Jurassic species.
The three divisions will offer new missions which could focus around: iconic Jurassic species, such as Megalosaurus and Brontosaurus; studying potential inter-species behaviours, such as Camptosaurus acting as look-outs for Stegosaurus, and Stegosaurus defending Camptosaurus from carnivores (this would require some new behaviours implemented, so is possibly unlikely to occur); and establishing a stable herbivore-carnivore environment, where we use carnivores and herbivores that would not be a threat towards one another (carnivores that are too small to harm the herbivores).
Dinosaur Suggestions: There are many different dinosaurs that could be added, so I just want to make some suggestions of my own.
I have already mentioned three new additions: Brontosaurus; Camptosaurus; and Megalosaurus. Brontosaurus and Megalosaurus are two iconic Jurassic dinosaurs, and Camptosaurus would introduce a new Family group to the game, especially since the only Jurassic herbivores in the game currently are Stegosaurs and Sauropods.
Scelidosaurus - a relatively small armoured herbivore.
Uteodon - a North American Iguanodont.
Adeopapposaurus - a South American prosauropod.
Eoabelisaurus - a South American abelisaurid.
Manidens - a heterodontisaurid (although this might be difficult to implement into the game due to its small size).
Elaphrosaurus - a small ceratosaurian from Africa.
Draconyx - a European herbivore.
Yandusaurus - a small herbivore from China.
Monolophosaurus - a carnivore, 5 metres in length, from China.
Again, all of these dinosaurs are just suggestions and could be exchanged for different species. Additionally, the story and missions could be excluded if I am asking too much from Frontier.
