The Restore Power Missions- Are They Still Around?

Don't seem to be many simple restore power missions on the boards. Is it my location, or am I just blind?

You do need certain states for them. Hard to say with so little info.

They do seem rare, I think Infrastructure Failure was one of the states that generates them.

i like doing them as you say seem to be short at the mo,im tendin to-wards collective exterminate settle ment missions up loading the virus from pp2 grabbing all and going.pretty straight forward.

There are "AX" restore power to settlement missions around systems neigboring Sol.
For some you need to find a regulator some give you one.

The normal ones are certainly still about - but the circumstances which generate suitable offline bases are rare, and in general they only appear as same-system missions because they're only offered by the faction which owns the base, and most factions - especially those with offline bases - are only present in a single system.

I did 1 yesterday and got a, for me, new bug. The power plant wouldn't kickstart. Screen was black. The regulator was properly in situ but nothing. I restarted the game and the screen was on. I only forgot to take my regulator out so the mission was bust.

3 times in a row (i only accepted one mission at a time) the mission didn't recognize I inserted the (provided) power core and turned the power on. 2 missions at a private home, 1 mission at a garrisson. logging off and on or turn the generator off and on again didn't help 3 times fines and standing loss.
