anyone got any idea what the rgb code is for the orange used in the menus

if you've got photoshop or any decent photo editing software you could sample the colour to get the colour ref

If you don't I could get it for you when I have a spare min or 2

Alt-Print Screen the image that you want to sample;
Open Paint;
Paste image buffer into Paint;
Select dropper and sample colour;
Edit colour to find RGB components.

Really hard to say - I've looked at 3 different videos and the colour is different in each one, plus it appears to be shaded. The majority of the samples I looked at were around r:255 g:207 b:127, but that means very little.

Hm. Looking at a screenshot (.bmp format) I took earlier, it seems these would be the values:

Mid-tones (the most prominent shading): 255,194,54 (#FFC236).
"hot" highlight: 255,250,100 (#FFFA64)
Darkest tone: 251,167,6 (#FBA706).

The real problem is, the background is slightly opaque (I think, 80% opacity by default), so all hues are most likely slightly off. And, as mentioned above, the menus are slightly shaded too, not just plain singletone.

just could nt find it ..

Looks good, but I think the ED logo in the background makes stuff harder to see, I think the plain black+white hexagons blackground matter would suffice.

That looks pretty good. I don't know why but it makes me think of a futuristic version of the Indian Head test pattern.

ffe828 (255 232 40) for the lighter stuff (text)

There's a lot of gradients going on, so difficult to nail down beginning and ending values for that.

Adobe released Photoshop CS2 for free many moons ago. Just google it and you'll be able to get it.

Will there be a possibility to customize this color in game ? For me the orange is maybe a little bit too agressive and I would like to change it for something green-ish or so.

afraid the color is in Photoshop,, i can give you any color you wish ,, if your able to get me the rgb code i can do a screenie for you tonight for your approval
