Hi Commanders,
I don't post on here much but read the forums a lot. It seems to me as the game is becoming more noticed, and more people are buying it, there is a definite increase in the number of people with the hump about the flight model (starting thread, after thread about it). It also seems that most people become less annoyed after they are told about "keeping speed in the blue", "roll over yaw" and "lateral thrust" etc..
So now that FD has this rather spiffing new Elite Dangerous website, I'm thinking perhaps it would be a good idea for them to create a video that explains the basics of flight like the "Dock the right way" video?
The flight model is brilliant but the more affordable this game gets the more people are going to buy it expecting a FPS in space. At the very least if someone doesn't see it on the main website and buys ED, then when they post on here about it, there is an easy link and they shouldn't feel like they have been mislead.
What do you reckon?
