The Road to Hell

Taking a break from the war, I decided to head out on a short-range (3,750 LY) trip to a place I've been meaning to visit for a long time.

On the way, a first-discovered Mars-like world at 0.05 atmospheres with a few interesting plants (which I did not scan - except from the SRV - as I am not a botanist).

Then onwards to the Seagull Nebula...

Finally arriving at the hellish planet from which the port gets its name:

Just thought I'd share; not sure why. Maybe a break from the war and the bug complaints?

Not a bad ship for that kind of exploration. I did my first trip to the Pleiades in a Cobra and also my first trip out to the witch head and the horse head nebula areas in a Cobra as well.

I have planned 3 different trips out to the Seagull Nebula, and each time I have gotten distracted by some other expedition or side trip and never quite made it. Next time for sure.
