this might also be a dual vs quad+ core thing. might want to check that out too.
i5 2500k @ 3900 + 760gt here. No stutter.

4ghz I7 and 2xgtx 970's. Elite: Dangerous was running buttery smooth prior to the update, now it judders God awfully. Super cruise is pretty much unplayable.

Ah I see the poll now, I had serious frame rate problem this morning at one point game dropped from 60 fps to 10-15fps before crashing to desktop, I'm guessing some sort of memory leak. I filed the upload crash report thing. but I don't think that's what the poll is about?

Apart from that the game runs reasonably well.

I actually get perfect performance in every respect now, with the sole exception that dropping out of supercruise is still a bit slow (at one stage it was faster, and likely will be again after further optimisations).

I'd be interested to know if the problem is considered to be better or worse than in B3 by players. Simply knowing whether or not it still happens, while useful, is not the whole story, not least as MB said yesterday they'd improved but not fixed it, and more work remained to be done.

Still stutters in supercruise near planets, during frameshift, interdiction etc. If anything worse than 3.5

OK. Just an update. The culprit for the stuttering was the new Nvidia 344.75 drivers. I've been having other problems with this driver as well. It sometimes crashes and my monitor then automatically turns off. I've reverted back to the 344.64 drivers and beta 3.9 is now butter smooth.

I voted no stutter which isn't completely accurate. I get maybe one/two entering Hyperspace but it really doesn't effect me at all it is not that noticeable, never has

Radeon HD 7800 Series

The stuttering has improved but I was pleased to see that it's still work in progress (it hasn't completely stopped it yet.
