Ships The Scout is becoming Pretty Handly in Power Play

So I bought both models to play with, and while I'm a bit disappointed in the Explorers combat ability (two Eagles were eating my lunch), the Scout has become extremely handy. I've kitted it out for combat, but leave the last C3 and C2 slots for cargo. In Power Play, there's a few missions that require 10 cargo to complete, and it's jump range is fantastic, so she knocks them in out in no time. I've been interdicted a few times, and easily defeated that bunch. I took her out for some RES fighting, and she did great (of course RES isn't spawning like it used to). I wouldn't take her in the Crime sweeps (definitely Vulture territory), but she does great everywhere else. I may have to give her a name...

Speaking of the Explorer, she's a decent ship, but you absolutely need to use turreted weapons, at least I am, as her pitch is almost unbelievably slow. That said, she does have great legs.

I'd say it's almost required to run the large hard point as a turret to effectively use the platform. I haven't had much of an issue with the medium hard points the few times I have been interdicted in the DBE as mine are gimballed.

Though, I am thoroughly enjoying my Scout. It's just a blast to bum around in.
