well this is my first post and it's a moany type of one i have been trying to do for the last 5 hrs the --the sinner the saint the saviour --- task and in that 5hrs i have gone to many many many systems looking for the weapons that are needed and i have only found 27 non lethal weapons and 100 reflective armour i am playing in private mode and am using a lakon 7 which is restricted to certain terminals i am at that point now where the princesses can poke their weapons where the sun don't shine as what's the point of doing a task if you can't get the items anywhere to do it so in short i have given up i have only been playing this game for 3 weeks and this is the second task i have done and it maybe my last if these type of get items missions are like this or i am doing something very wrong i have been using the trade helpers to no avail too

If you dont have a A rated FSD this CG is going to take you a bit.. ATM the 5% is at 4.8k tons and at the end of this probably move to like 7k to 8k tones.. Using filters help to. ALSO you have to go to High Tech systems around 40 to 30 Ly away to find a decent supply

i have gone further out i think i am about 60 LY and use about 95% of a tank of fuel in the lakon 7 and i have the galaxy tab set to fastest i have tried hi-tec systems as well as others, my lakon 7 is maxed out on everything except thrusters and armour i have even removed the small 4 cargo bay and put in a fuel scoop to give me a little more range lol but finding weapons seem to be like looking for rocking horse poo at the min, i understand that even in private mod it still works as a mass scramble but gezzz everyone strips the places before i get a sniff silly question does the system's reset at all if not them after 6 days there will be nothing left anywhere at the rate it's going

All the station constantly refill at slow rates. There are supplies out there within 40+ LY i found a station with 25K weapons in that range. Try looking above and below the plane of the galaxy map. For some reason not a lot of people do that

FYI : The clue is in the mission description. She's asking for clothing but secretly wants guns, hence it's a smuggling mission. Lombardelli's Legacy has a black market. You can import ANY sort of weapon to the station through the black market and it will count towards the target, as myself and others have found. However, if you get scanned on the way in you will incur heavy fines and damage to your reputation with the Empire, including the Princess's faction (it's sort of a black op sort of thing so if you get caught, she disavows you.)

I managed to find more than enough weapons to stay in the top 15% and never had to search through more than 4-5 sysystems to find a new supply when one dried up.

Someone mentioned high-tech systems, but you don't need them - industrial systems are just as likely to supply weapons, if not more so. Just surf the galaxy map for industrial systems with stations where battle weapons and personal weapons are not prohibited.

There seems to be a lot more weapons in outposts. I have had good success with Afli lately (was it Thomas Ring). I have constantly had to move a bit farther though. Afli is still good today though in outposts.
