Same for me. Size 1 and 2 do nothing but 3 is bigger than I would like.I have this problem as well, except for me size 1 and 2 do nothing while size 3 is so enormous it's really difficult to detail anything.
Square-cube law.The size 2 terrain painting tool is like ten times bigger than the 1 size. Am I missing a setting somewhere to get a size in between? 1 barely does anything at all while 2 is too big to really detail anything.
Would be nice if their brushes weren’t measured in squares then I guess.Square-cube law.
1x1 = 1sqm
2x2 = 4sqm
3x3 = 9 sqm
...
So the jump is very noticeable bewteen the small brushes.
It doesn't have to do with measuring in squares (actually the brush works in circles), it has to do with the mathematical term of 'squared'; if you double the radius (go from 1m to 2m), you quadruple the surface (A = π r²), because the area covered doubles both length- and width-wise.Would be nice if their brushes weren’t measured in squares then I guess.
We need options in between whole numbers. We need a 1.5m brush because of the jump from 1-2 being way too big.It doesn't have to do with measuring in squares (actually the brush works in circles), it has to do with the mathematical term of 'squared'; if you double the radius (go from 1m to 2m), you quadruple the surface (A = π r²), because the area covered doubles both length- and width-wise.
Yes. And a slider would be even better than pre-set sizes.We need options in between whole numbers. We need a 1.5m brush because of the jump from 1-2 being way too big.
