The sloth could/should have been an habitat animal

Simply what's stated in the title.

Contrary to the notion of sloths vegetating in the same place for ages, they can be fairly mobile when given proper exhibits.

As well, koalas sleep for 20 hours a day but no one in their right mind would argue that koalas should be made walk-through exhibit animals.

I do hope this can be implemented down the road.

Just code it so that it spends about >60-80% of the time.

Those parameters can be fixed with a few lines of code

Would i prefer sloths to be habitat animals? Heck yeah. Did i expect them to be exhibit species? Heck yeah.
I always assumed if sloths were to get added to planet zoo that they would be exhibit animals, even before the bats and WE got revealed. So im really not surprised at all. And honestly i think its better to have them in the WE than not at all, or dare i say on the ground half the time

They should spend 99% of the time, otherwise it would be wildly unrealistic. And it doesn't make sense doing complex animations for the other 1% of the time they leave the tree.

I have to wait to see how they are implemented as exhibit animals, but initially I'm fine with them being in the box. They only thing that sadness me is that they won't have babies (or maybe yes who knows!)

My problem with them being Exhibit is because of the exhibit box itself....It is freaking huge. It is great if you are to build a walk-through tropical dome, but from the zoos I am used to, they have a small enclosure behind a glass. That is totally not possible with those gigantic boxes...

I've tried to recreate those kind of small box habitats with the mod but it can be really hard to make them climb normally. Similar to my small monkey habitats, they just sat on the ground most of the time swaying back and fourth

Yeah, it is the general problem with the hitboxes for smaller animals. Still I feel like even if the enclosure was bigger than in real life, it would still be smaller than that huge WE box.

I disagree about the sloth, to a point. Yes I’d definitely have preferred them be a habitat animal, but also feel strongly that if frontier could have made it work they would have. I’m sure they tried, knowing the fervent requests for them

Tbh, I'm greatly bummed out at this decision more because it means that sloth exhibits will be greatly restricted in creativity with the current walk-through exhibit system.

As well, I can't have them in a mixed new world exhibit

I doubt that since they didnt do it with bats or bflies either. The sloths is the most likely of the 3 to get that feature to be fair, but i wouldnt count on it
