There are 400 billion systems / stars within this game, and thousands upon thousands of them are inhabited. The game is procedurally generated. Yet here people are arguing over what changes should and shouldn't be made. To me this is completely ridiculous. The scale of the game, and the manner in which it has been designed surely means that there could be a infinite variety of difficulty. Of all the games that have ever existed surely one that essentially has infinite space and is based upon mathematical algorithms should be able to please everyone...
