.. just happened. Was interdicted whilst spooling for hyperspace jump by a Python NPC. Aligned with target and made jump only to exit through the star with the pirate right behind me. Best bit was I dragged him from an Anarchy system so I got his bounty
I can confirm it can go like that. After a escape jump I had NPC pirate Conda on my back really close and star in front of my ship few days ago. Almost panicked but managed to escspe. Its looked like I pulled that conda into vortex with me.
