Man I was so into Star Trek Next Gen growing up. :) Really influenced me. The whole thing - all the shows - is quite a cultural phenomenon.

I don't think you can be into sci-fi and not appreciate what star has achieved and how it has influenced us all, in the immortal words of the late Leonard Nimoy "live long and prosper Star Trek".
