Seriously, China needs to move in and clean house.
I'm not a big fan of China's communist government, but I do know the people of NK would be so much better living under the Chinese.
The fact is, NK only exists due to China's backing, so they need to take responsibility for this failed state, oust the current NK government, and put something more sane in place.
Or give the US, SK, Japan, and their allies permission to do it themselves.

Besides it's not so bad until it happens with someone after that? they Have a nice big place where humans can't live or work for a few 1000 years. But if this is what "someone" want?
I suggest the same thing to anyone whom have in mind the usage and development of nuclear weapons. Look around in the world where such Catastrophes and testing happened. Hirosima Nagasaki, Chernobyl ushima. Bikini Atoll. You going to think twice after you seen it. Iran did that. And they were right about it, I think Kim Dzsong un And Trumph must also do this. A dry report statistic or video & underground testing cannot show you the horrors and consequences.
You must see that with your own eyes! You must understand it at his full extend.

On Friday morning, Australia offered its support to the United States in the event of a North Korean attack.

I assume you mean the Australian Government supports the US against the DPRK - pretty sure most of our citizens dont feel the same way, we have been down that path before and the result was not very good.
Why ? In case of a North Korean aggression, the Australian people would be happy ?
He was trying to say that everybody are fed up with fighting America's wars.
Although, in this case this might be security interest for many other nations.

Here's the thing, and the reason why NK is still where it is. So, you blow Kim to kingdom come, land troops, claim victory... Then what? What the hell are you going to do with all those people? Give them Freedom™, and they'll make a beeline for S.Korea, you think they can handle the influx? Remember, these people are starving and brainwashed, and, on top of that, probably low skilled for the most part.
The reason no one has really done anything about N.Korea, is because no one wants to deal with what will come after... Something Trumpy, in his typical short sighted view, can't grasp.

Not to worry. I run simulation of hundreds of Tsar Bombas and the world can't be destroyed: Maximum number of casualties is ~ 1 billion even with 100 Megaton devices. Kim jing ugh only has primitive nuclkear devs with just couple of kiltotones and they are not so good in arming their ICBMs. And the chances are that even if they fire they will miss target, or ex[plode on launch, or simply fail. Also the worst case scenario is just some damage on remote pacific island(s) (Guam, polynesia etc..) A few couple of thousand casualties.. 2011 Earthquakes and 2004 Tsunamies killed much more. Go back to your work there is nothing to see here.

Thank you that was exactly my point, our previous experience with blindly joining the US in every conflict they start or get involved in has not always been in the best interests for our country - the war in Vietnam was a disaster that we should never have been involved with.
Seoul is less then 20km from the border. Japan is within firing range of the more reliable intermediate ballistic missiles. As are vital US bases such as Guam. Should NK decide to launch their nukes it'd certainly not be the end of the world, but the damage wouldn't be limited to 'a few thousand' either. A nuclear war between the US and North Korea in the pacific area could easily reach an amount of casualties similiar to WW2.
Until that glowing light lands right next to you, then I am sure you will start to worry. Dont be like an ostrich and just ignore it cause it doesn't effect you.
