The Thargoid Ships

What we are seeing on these 232 planets are large Thargoid ships.

Unlike us they land upside down, so what we have is the bottom of the ships.

Size is off unless the ones we've seen at barnacles and in space so far have been exclusively the thargoid equivalent of sidewinders/Cobras and the planetary structures are capital ships...

The ships in space are maybe 1.2km, the ground structures have been measured at 6km+ diameter iirc.

Or . . . . they have a tendency to face plant when they crash. Not watched one land yet.

Or that's where the baseships have been grown and are able, when the time is right, to take off and launch into space.

You need to get 3 km away from the site to log out without warning. I always log out above it.

all i want to know is; what is the credit to thargoid currency converion rate, and how to request docking at whatever thargoid shipyard i need to go to to buy one.

Actually, Thargoids did not have any outposts that had markets for us. The only known Thargoid cooperation with the human in Elite series was in Soontil before it was nuked, Mycoided, and turned to lava with a Thargoid weapon shot.
The only way to get Thargoid technology was to shoot and collect them. Pretty same as now. Now you can collect the stuff at their base ships.

Raxxlans, on the other hand, had a diplomatic outpost for human and only 100 Elites were allowed to be in it a time. According to Raxxlan Welcome Message, you had to prove yourself worthy to be in their territory.

Um, if the ship lands upside down then isn't down up and up is down? Which means the ship is right side up...
