War is over, so it's time to race! (Not like we ever stopped anyway...)

The Elite Racers are proud to present 🏆 THE TITAN CUP 🏆, a series of 8 racing events for ship and SRV, commemorating the end of the Second Thargoid War and humanity's victory over the Thargoid fleet!

Events will be held approximately every 3rd weekend from 25 January to mid-May 3311.

Details for individual events to be announced. Event invites will be posted ahead of each race weekend, in the meantime see the Elite Racers Discord for more information and discussion.

  • Event will consist of 3 heats with each racer's best 2 times counting towards the final standings

I know it has been requested numerous times but I gotta say that realistic race tracks for ships and SRV’s, with sensing of track limits and automatic timing, would be so awesome to add to this game. Some of the assets already exist in the training missions for ship gates that could be repurposed. They could even be integrated into storylines, CG’s, missions, BGS, PP 2.0, and probably other existing aspects of the game. My hat goes off to the organizers of these events.

Who hoo, here we flippin' well go!

Can't wait for this, already been practicing the Noctrach circuit today. Dang this place is icy, there’s a few corners where you have to be so careful on the throttle but also some places where we can let rip with some nice flyving. This is gonna be a great start to the series!

I appreciate it’s not the same as it being built in to the game by Frontier but you should check out the time trial feature in EDCoPilot which does all that sensing of track limits and automatic timing itself. There's obviously no visual representation of gates but you're guided through them by verbal instructions written by each race's creator plus there's an on-screen overlay which points you towards the next gate as well as providing telemetry such as bearing, distance, speed and altitude. Check out http://frinkbottle.uk/TimeTrials/ for a list of all the currently available tracks along with track maps and global leaderboards.

I have good intentions to try and add time trial circuits to EDCoPilot to represent some of the races that will be featured in this championship.

Making my first visit to Noctrach since recording the demo video just over a year ago. Wow, it's so icy! But I've got new flight sticks and learned a lot of technique since then. I can definitely see why I liked this place and designed the track, this is gonna be WILD!
