Interdicted an Eagle pirate today and thought this is going to be easy few credits as I was in a tooled up Viper with twin beam lasers and multicannon - the tricky little blighter had my shields down with his own beam laser and then I was down to 75% hull before I knew it, just couldnt get behind him. Had to pull out of the fight in the end! What a cheek!

You don't want to get locked into the spiral of death with an eagle. You could burn away then turn and take him head on.
