A general wash up and discussion of current TV shows that you're enjoying (or not) for everyone's personal edification and education.

I'm currently watching:

American God's on Prime. Loved the book and so far this has all the hallmarks of a great series indeed. Ian McShame was born to the role of Wednesday. Visually it's a bit of feast and all.

Rewatching the last series of House of Cards in mega anticipation of the new series coming next week. Just brilliant TV. Spacey steals every single scene he is in so much so he's hoovering the other actors (great as they are) right up his bum.

Indeed it is. And there are plenty of nods to that part of history in this. It's basically old gods versus new gods in America and the battle to win the mortals worship.

Yeah, I think I like this thread more than the "Top 5" one because who can choose a favourite and you change your mind all the time aynway.

I'm also watching American Gods. As a fantasy nerd I'd have picked Wodin instantly. There's also Thor's day, Tyr's Day, Frey's day then the Day of the Sun, Moon and the Satyr. I love my "Christian" calender. ;) :p

I think people should give Into The Badlands a go if they like post-apocalyptic martial arts westerns.

The Magicians if you like your Urban Fantasy.

The Man In The High Castle if you like your alternate realities.

So yea, all 3 are good!
Badlands has a new season coming out; think they are at 10 or so now. Story isn't much, but choreography is terrific.

If you are into Spy Fiction, SS:GB is very akin to High Castle.

It's the costuming of Badlands that always strikes me (that and the Widow). Yep, already seen SS:GB. Have to wonder if there'll be more or if it's another one and done British show (Hello Ultraviolet).

I think the word "Only" is what you meant.

But, Started American Gods up to Ep2 atm and enjoying it so far.

Watching Line of Duty just finished series 3.... OMG!!!
