The Type-10 Defender - The Pilot

As usual, quality video.

I do like the Type 10, its my mining ship (not core mining). I would have used the Type 9, but that MLF kills me (both figuratively and literally).

It does look good against Thargoids, but i've not done any Thargoid hunting, and no real plans to either.

As always pilot, nice video. Have to admit the T10 hasn't apeald to me, more likely to go with the Annie. But I am fond of the T9, so may look into the T10 at some point.

Well the AX Initiative has very nicely informed me that the T10 should not be used to hunt Thargoids, and it does take an exceptional pilot to overcome it's flaws. But, other than that, everything else stands. It's a fun ship.

Nice video, one of my favorite ships!! Mine is a deep space miner, flies away from the bubble to mine peacefully every now and then.. Whenever i watch all these movies with spaceships deep into nowhere, this is the ship that comes to mind.

I took a T10 out to Explorer's Anchorage CG, fully equipped for mining, with 256T limpets (just in case) and plenty of gun & armour...
Spent the week mining then kitted out with 'explorer stuff' to come back slowly. An amazing ship, just switching from that to a Courier when I got to the bubble made the Courier feel very, very fast!
Another excellent video about a ship I really liek to fly.

Always good to have more quality ED content, thanks Pilot.

I tried to like the T10. Thought it would be a killer Multicrew ship, but then I tried Multicrew. Tried using it for combat, but that PD . . .

That's fair. If you do get the itch though, it is worth it to hop in a fighter and watch it fight for you.

I’ve squashed a bug or two with a 10... it’s like swatting flies with a 60 pound sledgehammer - far more work than it’s worth, but does have a certain strange satisfaction.
