Grown-up explainer: I think "Twilight Sparkle" is the name of a cartoon pony. A "bronie" is someone who wants to engage in intimate relations with cartoon ponies. So an assassination mission (at least from my limited understanding of German) with "Twilight Sparkle" as the target is offensive to these "bronies."

In any case, the question of either the OP or these "bronies" eating strange mushrooms does present itself.
