The Vive, Elite Dangerous and Voice Attack

has anybody get it going with the build-in Mic? When i test it on the Desktop everything works as planned, but when i start ED it doesn´t recognize anything i say.

Are you new to VoiceAttack? If so, the answer might be easy: At the upper right of the VA window, you can define where VA sends its commands. Change the output to 'active window' (or something alike; I haven't VA open at the moment).

If this is well known to you already, there might be another issue related to VR and I am afraid I can not help in this case.

nope, i´m not new ;) it works on the Desktop , even through the Vive, but not when ED runs to simplify it. But thank you for your help ^^

I had this exact same problem. On your computer, go to the control panel, then sounds. Go to the microphone tab, and change the default to the one Vive has changed it to.
Or do what I did. Plug your mic into your PC, not the Vive. Also in the steam VR box that shows up on your desktop, go to audio and change it from Vive to your desktop.

I have the same problem. I have mic on usb, headphones conected to Vive (when VR is ON, then it playing in headphones), 5:1 connected to internal sound card (when VR is OFF, sound is playing on 5:1).
I turn on Voice attack, astra speaking in 5:1, when i run VR - astra speaking in headphones. When i run elite dangerous, i just hear music and sfx. Astra hear all commands, but don't respond in headphones, when i change to external 5:1 i have everything: sfx from elite + astra.
Even when i set active window in voice command to Elite (client), it didn't change anything. I think it's becouse my headphones are connected to Vive. I searched everywhere, tested every mixer setting in windows: playback, and record... don't know what to do.

ps. sorry for ma Eng.
