The Vive screen turns into a white vr space when i put the headset on.

I load up Elite Horizons and have it set for VR.
The headset set tracks normally on the screen and I can even see in the lenses what I am supposed to see.
Once I put the goggles on my face (and a little sensor inside is covered up) the screen turns into a whitish vr area.
When I take the goggles off the game appears in them again.
Is there a setting I am missing or some way to make it so I can see the game with the goggles on?
I did just install the vive and software and restarted.

Same problem here - if you cover the sensor inside the Vive (in the middle of the lenses) then it all goes white.

So - when you are not wearing them - all ok - when you put them on and it goes dark inside - we are in the mysterious white VR space.

Still googling to figure it out - but we appear to be having the same issue.

My Vive is new today so I don't know if it is related to the patch that just came out.

OK - appear to have resolved it.

I had configured my Vive for room scale. And all appeared to go well with the set up.

However, when I went back in to SteamVR, it asked me to configure the space again. It did not appear to have saved my settings correctly.

I then configured the room for small scale / standing. Had to listen to the silly tutorial all over again - and then exited.

Brought up Elite - and everything appears to be working. At least on the startup screen. :)

Now to go immerse myself in the wonders of Brabens Galaxy!
