Please no. Fixing an issue is not simply introducing a toggle. Best example for this is the update frontier did on the notifications. Instesd of actually improving the system they simply gave us a toggle. Which yes its ok but doesnt fix the core problem of us getting bombarded with unnecessary notifications of stuff we dont need to see. I cant get any notifications for rides because if i turn them on, i get spammed with notifications of all my transfer tracks or „dummy“ rides etc.
please frontier, fix the issue and do not cut corners like this anymore
For indoors: just use the same system you have for rain. If theres walls and roof around it, disable the wind. If theres no walls and roofs around it, let it react to wind
I totally understand where you are comming from and agree with you. We should not have to deal with patches (as in patch over the problem) but instead get cure repair.
Realistically though: Fixing this and a lot of other issues at the core would cost a bunch of development time, manpower and money. All those are things Frontier does not have an abundance of. And I highly doubt most people would be happy with them fixing the plants but then we get no new coaster in the next update or similar cuts.
We are in a frustrating situation and as much as Frontier DOES step in now, listen to feedback and do their best to - sorry for the word but... - rescue this game, lets be real, it should never have these quality issues in the first place. And with Planet Coaster 1 and Planet Zoo we actually are used to a better quality.
So yeah, "done right" should be the norm, but I don't think we stand much of a chance here.
