The Wetlands, Florida

Episode 11 - Platypus Pool
I wanted to make a tiny Platypus habitat... Then I discovered that their burrow needed to be 5m away from the nearest water and 3m from the habitat gate! So I built a fake burrow next to the water connected with a tunnel to the real burrow behind the 'back wall' of the habitat so I could keep it tiny! If there is a better way of doing this I'd love to know, maybe I was just doing something wrong but I really like the final result!

This is incredible! As someone who visits Gatorland a lot I can definitely say this is way higher budget than gatorland but I definitely see the influence! I suggest you add a large gator lake with a ton of gators and naturalistic feel with cypress trees and a boardwalk over it. That’s the most Florida you can get! And a decent Florida Panther habitat with mesh

Also, yeh, I didn't want to do the low-budget thing but I took gatorland as inspo as I normally do 20th Century Modernist builds and I wanted a different influence this time. The panther habitat is a great idea, if I end up with a suitable space when the zoo is finished I will definitely consider that!

Episode 11 - Platypus Pool
Goes to show how much improvement can be made on the animals really - you made a beautiful habitat as small as you could, but it's still bigger than anything you'd see in real life. I hope that if we ever do get a sequel in the far-flung future this is something the devs can improve upon.
