The wipe of 'World Records'

It's good that devs wiped some at least irritating 'world records', like pandas having lived for 284 years. But they seemed to have wiped all data entries. Now, the added value of the world records is zero for me. Because 380 ingame years of data is gone forever.

How can records exist in combination with the new age sliders?

Good question, was wondering about that myself. I think the age of an animal, when slowed, is still 'normal' if you catch my drift. So animals won't suddenly have a longer lifespan because you decided to age them slowly. I for one am very happy with the reset, because I already spotted elephants of over a 1000 years old. I hope they'll stay on the lookout for this, because it does spoil the records tab.

This has been a problem since the beta. Until they find a way to stop players from tampering with the game files, there is no point in clearing world records. They'll do it again.
