The woman is too loud! How can I make her quiet?

As the title says: the woman announcing "Docking request granted" and such is too loud.

I dialled the soundeffect setting almost all the way back, now I can barely hear my ship, but it has no effect on the woman's voice.

Does anyone know the answer?

You could just turn down the ship voices in your audio settings.

scroll down - on the options/audio page (where you adjusted the FX sound) and there should be a ship voice setting - I think

On a related note: Is there anyway to turn up the voices in the stations? I can barely hear them, and sometimes they have different accents and say some ironically funny things, like our favorite 'Loitering is a crime punishable by death'. But...it sounds like they're speaking from under 17 pillows...
