The worst thing about a new patch and new DLC ...

By far the worst thing about the great, great, great news that we're getting so much additional, brilliant content for the game (we're assuming the DLC, but don't keep us waiting guys!) is that much as I love constructing my own zoos, I don't want to start a new one until the new goodies are released!

Who else finds that they have to take a sabbatical from playing when a new mega-patch of DLC is announced?

It's my only gripe, that and the painfully slow internet speed here which means I've got another wait of hours and hours on top of the countdown clock ...

Still, I'll just clear 31 March of everything and play all day!

Same. I'm kind of in a lull wanting to play for the next two weeks. With Australia and South America once we found out about them, that was new areas of my zoo I could design in preparation. As this is likely going to be something from Asia, I already have areas in my zoo for that continent, I don't really want to design.

Yeah, same. I've been playing Career Mode to unlock the statues when the update comes, but I have been holding off my current main zoo because of the update.

Guilted. I turn the game on load my file and then think what if the new dlc contained something that i would really like in my zoo, better wait and play only after its out. 😂

Usually I have this problem as well. But now I decided to just build a german animal park. Almost all modded animals we got lately are perfect for it, it won't interfere with an asian DLC and I doubt the new pack will have anything I need for it.
Plus side: If we really get only 4 habitat animals again and I don't feel an urgent need to buy, I can wait for a sale to not support the dlc model that much anymore.

For me, it's quite the other way round. I don't play that regularly between the DLCs, due to lack of time/losing focus. But as soon as an update with new content or new functions is announced, I get so eager to play that I start right away. I hadn't touched the game since January, but did play everyday since last Thursday, when the billboards were announced. So for me, the new stuff fuels the excitement even before it's released.
