I Think the game is still missing so much that will add to wow factor. Even simple things like sending a probe down to a planet over a simple scan. Make players have to hang around and be sitting ducks for data etc.
Pirate bases must be a wow factor.
Thargoid sighting.
Mystery wrecks needing salvaged.
Strange anomalies in space.
More space station variance.
Walking around your ship.
Better damage model.
And the big one planetary landings.
But you know what the biggest wow for me will be? Firing the game up for the first time since I've not played Elite since the original
Game bought through KS but still to play as a new Rig is needed from my 2004 build. Cant wait.
