i recently got an idea of basing a zoo off of a piece of text, today i've finally made that piece of text, and i'll shortly begin designing "The Zoological Grounds Of Berger" or TZGOB for short. it's more or less an experiment, both story-wise and creation-wise, but i hope it'll turn out great!
here's the "piece of text":
The Zoological Grounds Of Berger: a conservatory effort.
General facts:
Location: France. Date of founding: twelfth of April, 1925. Founder: Flora Berger.
The conservatory has put high efforts into breeding programs of critically endangered species, which has been the purpose since the start. Visitors are in no way allowed to interfere with the animal’s life nor are they allowed to be present in the animal’s habitats. No human interaction - nor veterinarian - is allowed to come in contact with the animals. The purpose is to let the animals live a life as they would in their natural habitat, this means they are to be fed live food if carnivorous. The focus is at all times on the animals rather than the visitors, therefor visitors are not to be disturbed, payed attention to, nor does the conservatory offer food, drinks or bathrooms. The conservatory offers a free entry, on the premises the visitor behaves. It is not recommended to bring children under the age of ten to the conservatory, as the animals do, as mentioned, eat live food, and any disturbance results in getting kicked out.
List of the current animals inhabitating the conservatory: West African Lion, Indian Elephant, African Elephant, Gharial, Chinese Pangolin, Galapogos Giant Tortoise, Bornean Orangutan, African Wild Dog, Himalayan Brown Bear, Lehmann’s Poison Frog, Lesser Antillean Iguana, Red Ruffed Lemur, Siberian Tiger, Western Lowland Gorilla, Western Chimpanzee
