Theme for a DLC

This is just a suggestion but why limit the catalogue to just dinosaurs, terra sours, and peiloisoirs? The Mesozoic period featured a lot more than just dinosaurs. A DLC could feature other perhostic reptiles such as Sarcosuchus for example. Prehistoric amphibians such as Koolasuchas for example. The expeditions often yield nondinosaur fossils, why not clone them as well?

Non-dinosaur land reptiles seem inevitable, with Lystrosaurus in Dominion.

As to Amphibians, they're something I'd like to see, though I'm not sure how flexible Frontier is on it (they mostly have scales, so it's not really that much of a departure from reptiles).

Depending on if they want the Permian in game, a Diplocaulus would be a pretty classic choice. Other Amphibians could be things like Sclerothorax or Cyclotosaurus, maybe even a Crystal palace style Labyrinthodon or giant Triadobatrachus.

Permian is almost very likely for Dominion, and I can tell already this game aims to be very well based on all the Jurassic movies like the first, just in the next level this time. One rumored animal is the Dimetrodon (Though that's only based on "leaked" information & alleged "dino-appearing" merchandise. Only time will confidentially tell if it will officially appear in the film.), and the said Lystrosaurus, assuming it's not a Triassic species. I can see them (along with all other new on-screen species) being in the game via as a free update like the Fallen Kingdom and Battle at Big Rock updates, or maybe go in a different route as a Dominion based PDLC.

There are quite a few Permian creature ideas of my own for JWE2, but like all of my other ideas, I plan to save them until sometime after the game releases so that I know what is in it or not, just as I did with the first game "long" after every major update.

An easy way to do the first 3 DLCs could be to just go by the 3 categories we see in the species field guide- Air, Land and Marine. And since it is called Land and not just Dinosaurs it could feature none-dino creatures.

Lystrosaurus I feel is a bit tenuous being treated as Permian, it's prominence really is the Early Triassic.

Coelophysis is similar, being more abundant in the Triassic, but having larger range in the Jurassic. I'd say the best thing would be to state a range.

Tanystropheus for the win, the best non-dinosaur out there in the world, the best creature ever to be alive. Also Dunkleosteus. That's all I ask from Santa this year.

maybe after dominion we can have lystrosaurus and any others that appear and the lystosaur coulkd like burrow or dig
Lystrosaurus specifically I'm unsure, their limbs are worse for it than relatives like Diictodon.

Meerkats recently introduced burrowing to Planet Zoo, so a burrower of some sort eventually seems doable.
