Theme Park Rides

Hey guys
I think that some theme park rides would go nicely in the park. As far as we've seen there aren't many attractions in the game. I think a roller coaster or two would look nice in a big park, like the boneshaker in the telltale Jurassic Park game. Nothing super customizable like in planet coaster but something simple would look nice.
I would also like to see a river cruise like in the novel. Or like the kayak from Jurassic World.
Anything like that would almost certainly have to be a dlc but I wouldn't mind paying for a ride pack in the future.

Not that bothered about rollercoasters, but I completely agree on the river cruise and kayak ride. Would be amazing to make an enclosure with the Suchomimus or Baryonyx.

I would like to see that as a dlc down the road.

Considering the limited space I'm not so keen on the roller coaster, also from a realism point of view the noise would agitate the dinosaurs if you would build it close or inside a enclosure.
A river cruise and/or kayak ride would be good additions in a dlc.

I can see a kayak ride with deep water. But realisticly I can only see the dinosaurs getting close to drink water and not swim in it. Plus it will be cool to separate dangerous dinosaurs with that deep river water. My two cents.

That would be cool and I personally like that idea. However in the JP novel the t-rex has the ability to swim in a locomotive way close to an alligator. So it's probably unlikely deep water can seperate some dangerous dinosaurs if Frontier is sticking to canon with their dinosaurs.

If they add deep water they have to make swimming animations for nearly all the species.
I don't see that happening.

I think something small and silly like a ferris wheel or dino merry go round would be great additions to the entertainment tree.

But more than anything some kind of water tour like the kayak tour would be awesome. What would make it even cooler is if they let you paddle out yourself. I mean they already have you commandeer jeeps, copters and presumably the hamsterballs.

Well, I suppose taking care of a dinosaur's needs could stop the dinosaur from attacking since it's at least more tamer from
being fed by people or at least just being fed a good enough diet that satisfies it's hunger. I read that the Cretaceous Cruise
of Jurassic World had the Suchomimus, the Baryonyx and Metriacanthosaurus. Yet the attraction wasn't shut down until the
Indominus broke out and everyone fled the island. Also those first two primarily ate fish. So I suppose if we satisfy the needs
of the carnivores, they will at least not eat people kayaking except if someone really annoys them by making a loud noise and etc.

Hammond said that there should be no roller coasters in Jurassic Park. And I agree. They would be deplaced and in if you want to play planet coaster, do it. But they would be ridiculous in this park.
But ... yeah, river cruise would be nice.

Personally all I would want to see as attractions is a Jungle Cruise type ride, a Hot Air Balloon ride, and a Safari Jeep ride. In a future DLC a Mosasaurus show and an Aviary like in JW .

Well - I definitely tend to agree with Hammond here. No roller coasters in Jurassic Park/World.

I do like the idea of certain types of rides - Jungle River Cruise, Gyrosphere tours/Safari Rides thru Herbivore exhibits. Hot Air Balloon rides, & Feeding shows for big Carnivores.

I would like to see a ride like that since the same idea was in the JP novel. I would use herbivores.

In the Jurasssic World movie, the guests are in kayaks. Was that the Cretaceous cruise? If so, there was herbivores on that.

Yes, it was. And according to the JW website, there were also three carnivores in the Cretaceous Cruise (Baryonyx, Suchomimus, and Metriacanthosaurus).

I'm all for a few theme-park rides (including a minimal number of rollercoasters if there's room on the islands); there could be a game mechanic by where coasters need to purposely be built away from enclosures (noise pollution). A few thrill rides (twister, pirate ships, rotator swings) couldn't hurt, nor simple rides such as dodgems.

This is a park management game with a focus on dinosaurs, but there's no harm in accommodating a bit more. +1 on the river cruise and similar-such rides too.

Elevated train car type rides for viewing and the like would make some sense, I think, as well as that enclosed roller ball thing. Also maybe some sort of submersibles or sealed translucent tunnels under water would be cool for future expansion. Stuff like that. Roller coasters though don't seem particularly fitting for the setting.
