Theming matter from a management perspective?

Hey! I love the level of detail that you can go into when theming and customising your park but is it going to matter when it comes to the "campaign" mode? When playing RCT3, I never bothered with the decorative parts beyond making sure the paths/bins/etc were in theme because it never mattered from a management perspective. It never affected the money coming in, or the happiness of my customers.

Is it going to matter in this?
