General / Off-Topic Then and now Remakes

I prefere to play the original one ... :)

For it's time, it was amazing. I tried it again recently, but water effects have moved on just a bit:D

A groundbreaking game though. Skyrim and Dragon Age are good but....

I refute Skool Daze - Bully..

Bully = School GTA :p

Also X-Com - X-Com :D

I played a lot of Skool Daze but I never knew how to finish the game. I was always attending to classes like goody-little-two-shoes.

To be honest I still don't have a clue what the game was about. Back then when being a kid I just had unlimited energy to keep on playing games without any progress.

I am going to google this game+emulator now but I fear in my memories it look wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better.

EDIT: I found a remake. It's a bit technical and I don't understand how to install yet. http://pyskool.ca/?page_id=88

I'm going to stick my oar in and say Dungeon Master. I've been looking for a decent iPad and Android clone but none exists (well, one did for a short time until it was pulled because of copyright). I've got DMJava with the editor built in and I love it. I wish there was a decent PC port of it though. I plyed that game and the sequel 'Chaos Strikes back' over and over again back in the day.

Ah - you must mean the world's most popular sport that is played in pretty much every civilised nation?

As for not 'repackaging' a game, what would you have them do? Stick with Fifa 97 + squad updates? Granted, one game a year is unnecessary and the series would benefit from bi-annual releases in my opinion, but that's never going to happen.
Football? Surely that's a business simulator?
