Newcomer / Intro there I was Fuel Scooping when

I jumped into ZEESSZE and was getting fuel before going to the station and i got interdicted, well I am flying an ASP and have it setup with gimbled multi-cannons (the good ones) on every hard point up front. I have missile protection on every hard point in back, and some pretty good shields. So I turn on this guy, lock him up and start blasting-doing good damage , there is no doubt I will win this. But the thing is Hugh, it looks like a big space shuttle and it is slow to boot.
Well compared to my asp it was real slow, so anyway I get it were it has no shields left it turns away from me and I am pounding it with all the guns at the same time, I get the frame charging alert but keep on blasting it and it just jumps out with no problem.
Question what kind of ship was it, I want one.

Sounds like it could have been a Fer-de-Lance, but I didn't think they were slow or huge (I could be wrong tho) and I would have thought you would have had a harder time against it. Although it could have been an unskilled pilot, that would account for an FdL losing to an ASP.
.
Anacondas, Pythons and Drop-Ships are pretty distinctive and don't really look like "big space shuttles", so I doubt it was one of them, and Vultures are fast fighters so I don't think it was one of those either.
.
I guess you didn't have time to look at your left target panel while fighting, it would have told you there.
.
EDIT: I guess it could have been an Orca, but I've never seen them fighting. In fact, I've never seen them outside of a station (or local area).

The only thing an Orca would want to fight would be a Asp stripped down for exploration. Good job you were armed for Whale.

I did some research and found what it was, it was an imperial clipper. that was the first time I ever saw one. One tough ship for sure.

Surprised at the slow comment. It is one of the fastest, if not the fastest ships in the game. I guess an inexperienced pilot did not know what to do to an ASP. Clipper, btw, has better hull than Python, though less shields.

Yeah, I've found Clippers to be very agile. Even in a Vulture (very manoeuvrable) the Clipper can always seem to keep facing me and constantly in its sights.
