The easiest way to describe Perkele would be, that He is the great grandfather of Satan (as described by the dudesons back in the day). I understand however, that the wikipedia requires something more accurate than that... Anyway, the squadron is not occultist, and the name Perkele is merely an identifiable referation to finnish culture (among with the other words found in the squadron name and tag, lol).
It almost happened many times in the past, but for whatever the reason, the previous finnish squadrons and factions chose other star systems over Perkele. Our vision is to unite all finnish/finnish minded players under the same squadron, and eventually under the same minor player faction in Perkele:
