There is a time and place for the new AI

First off let me say I love the new AI. Its not that I dont have problems with it however. My personal problem is that I just cant ever get behind ships anymore making my best bet to tank in large ships. Now it seems that my lack of skill as a pilot so im not calling for any nerfs to the AI.

However. Alot of non-combat and even some combat players are very unhappy with the new AI. I and I actually agree with them. It just doesnt make sense that every pirate is a Ace in a fully upgraded ship. Maybe some pirates sure. But the bulk of pirates and most of those found in RES sites shouldnt be dogfighting in a anaconda like the Red Baron. It doesnt make sense gameplay wise and it makes no sense in the aspect of realism.

So what I purpose is this. Revert low and high RES sites to the old AI or perhaps a down graded version of the new AI. Make most pirates in normal space the same. That allows those not as skilled or in my case, find it immersion breaking for ace pilots to be in a low RES, to play the game in a more agreeable manner. Throw the AI in specific RES sites and corrupted beacons and warzones. Perhaps even rebuff them with engineer loadouts and create real group content in certain instances or warzones.

TLDR, have it so everyone gets what they are looking for in elite.

Had they actually given us new AI I would have been happy.
Infinite Ammo AimBot Ultra Manoeuvrable NPCs are not AI by any sense of the word.
Once these so called Cheating AimBot NPC start behaving like actual pilots then I will gladly concede to their superior piloting skills.
