There is one large ship I would consider saving up for. Thoughts?

From all the big ships it's the one I enjoy flying the most. I just wish it didn't have a bubble cockpit...

Feels big and massive, without being desperatly annoying (like the Cutter).
Best miner around IMO.
Excellent all-round multipurpose.

I need to go back to the bubble anyway. I've decided that after all, I do want Guardian modules.

Which reminds me. I'm correct in thinking having both a Guardian PP & PD does... Something?

What is this Something?

Based purely on the presence of the word "versatile", the correct answer, boring as it may be, is probably Anaconda.

The Anaconda with engineering actually handles pretty well in an asteroid field. Still slow overall though (400m/s on my build), and side visibility sucks. Still my go to ship for material farming, CZs and anything that awards engineering materials. Had it since 1.1 where the only other big ship was a T9. Still prefer mining in the Python or iClipper though.

I have one based in Colonia.

The other is a multi-role 'fights anything', but I sacked the SLF pilot to save credits.

Then I stripped it down to run shieldless cargo rescue loads into Witch Head Sector following the II.

Then I discovered the Cutter flew better shieldless. carried more and actually outran pirates ......

Having been the owner of a fully engineered T10, here's my opinion on it.

Combat - It works but is boring. The PD and convergence are trash. Hope you like turreted kinetics and packhounds, that's the best route to go. Don't even think about running a laser build, or anything that is even moderately power hungry. It could be an effective, albeit boring IMO, Thargoid hunter though. Tough hull and 4L, plus convergence isn't much of an issue since Thargoids are giant and pie shaped.

Mining - Bad for core mining as it is sslloooooowww and aiming the charges is annoying. It can be used for regular mining, but then why not go T9 and get more space?

Trade - Again, why not go T9.

TLDR: Has a place for Thargoid hunting, out-shined everywhere else.

Wow. Didn't realise it has 4/3/2 L/M/S hard points. Go with the T10, make a video of it crushing Thargoids and post back, OP!

Question to those in-the-know: does the view behind the pilot seat look the same in a T10 as a T9? When I first saw that in VR, the first thing I thought was that this was going to take a LONG time to walk through when (if) space legs lands...

Nothing, a guardian power distributor lets you use 104% of your power output (you can see this in the right hand module tab)

The guardian stuff I unlocked for my alt account are the FSD booster, module reinforcement, shield reinforcement, and the PD.
The 4% increase of power output is really nice as I can use an armored PP with most of my builds. It was a godsend for my Viper out in Colonia.
The T-10 is really nice and underrated, it's not the king of anything but can do everything really good. It feels like a tank, plus I like the view, especially in VR.
I'm taking mine hopefully this coming weekend to Colonia, 34ly at a time. Need to go mining for the transport fees of my Cutters first.
