I also believe that Star Citizen despite their awesome claims about depth and detail, in reality will never overtake ED because of feature creep that is dragging them down faster than they can pull up. :D

Heck we might get atmospheric+space legs in ED before SC. In terms of playground size SC is just glorified KSP.

Only when you need arsenic though. Last night I put my money where my mouth was, and decided to 'upgrade' my FSD drive in my ASPX. All went well, and I eat humble pie when I say this, it was actually not too bad, and (shiesh, never thought I dsay this either)... I had..... a little bit of fun to :) (never prospected before, and I got to see Dav's hope :D)

The road block came when I came to G5 - had 20+ of materials / data. But had 3 arsenic. After rolling only got about 20% in and my fsd is stuck around 48ly

After 2 hours, no arsenic :( Grind :(

But then someone said to me DUDE, you're doing it wrong.

These "Its a boring grind" threads are all ridiculous...
Elite is a Game...you have two options...if there are ASPECTS of the game you don't enjoy...DON'T do them (or do them occasionally when by your own personal standards the gain outweighs the time spent doing something you don't enjoy)
JUST do the stuff you enjoy (or at least make doing stuff you enjoy the OVERWHELMING focus of your in-game activities)
After all...if you're not enjoying it WHY are you doing it...its YOUR lesiure time...play a different game, go for a beer, go fishing whatever...youwon't get the time back...
If there are NO aspects of Elite that you enjoy...then play a DIFFERENT game...not ALL games are for ALL people...I wouldn't enjoy CoD or GTA...but I have never felt the need to spend time playing them then moaning about them...I just fire up something I like...
