There some things WAY wrong with this game.

He's a few points I've found that are truly annoying and in my opinion need fixing as a matter of urgency.

1) Landing bay lights no illuminating. You're given permission to dock, only to find that you can't find you bay because the yellow "land here" lights only work intermittently. Annoyance level medium.

2) Cargo found in space. At its current settings, collecting cargo in space is like fitting wheels to a tomato.... Time consuming and pointless. If you find something to the value of 5k, what's the point in picking it up if you get a 10k fine? Annoyance level medium.

3) Unexplained "Overheat". In space, minding my own business a few minutes after getting a bounty and my heat levels go critical. I was no where near a heat source, I wasn't engaged by an enemy. All I was doing was sitting in space, checking my tabs and all of a sudden my craft heats up, gets to critical mass and does the big firework. Annoyance level high.

4) Friendly fire. Battling "wanteds" in space and some NPC flies in front of you when you're engaging the enemy, BANG..... you go straight to wanted and then you've got to go through the hassle of having to find somewhere the clear your massive 300 credit fine or the Police target you like you're some kind mass murderer. This is absolutely ridiculous and is spoiling the game. Annoyance level off the clock.

5) Scanned by the space pigs (feds) who then decide that for zero reason they've taken exception to you because you're out there doing the job you're supposed to be doing in the game... bounty hunting. Take on the wrong ship, even though it's clearly marked as wanted and that doesn't matter.... Out comes the pigs hard points and you're toast. Annoyance level... So high, it's actually in another galaxy. Look, before any of you come back with "Well, you must have hit a friendly" No I didn't. Wanted should mean wanted, not wanted unless they're of the same faction as the police and then they're wanted until you hit them then YOU'RE wanted. This is just plain stupid and spoiling the game.

All in all, I do like the game, but the only thing that keeping me here at the moment is the hope that they're de bug the game; because buggy it is.... It's more buggy than the floor of a jungle.

1. A known bug which should be addressed soon..ticket it.
2. Learn how to evade interdiction and learn about silent running.
3. Do you know which key your silent running is mapped to? Because it sounds like you accidentally hit silent running and overheated.
4. It happens, but you need to be aware of nearby friendlies so you know when to ease off the trigger.
5. You annoy a faction, then their security vessels will attack you...it's all part of the game

First off soooo funny that the guy replaying is named AngerManagement (on purpose?).
All his points are also valid just one thing. Even if the lights are not working you can still land, if you are having trouble finding the pad use the target reticle you use to find jump direction (the little round target on the top left corner of the scanners). Once you enter the station it changes to point towards the allocated landing pad. I got so used to using it I don't even look at pad numbers anymore, just use that to guide into landing. (there is also a bug where the assist won't turn on, you can sometimes still land but it's better to cancel landing and make new request, it's done the same way asking for landing permit is done)

NPCs don't become randomly hostile. But you are right, this mechanic needs some tweaking which will most likely happen in the next updates.

GOOD POINT

Heat ! It's COLD in space with no AIR so no fiction , is just how it is. Only time Heat should be an issue is flying though a Nebula or debris blocking stuff up thus not allowing heat to move into space, Dogfighting close to a sun would also not allowing heat to escape as well , in a planet system ,just the inner system out too cold,, SUN mass or types could also affect how heat builds up.

Heat from a spacecraft , in deep space , should allow heat seeking missiles to target lock and blow you up , fire it a target close to a sun or bigger heat source & bye bye missile :)

I play as a bounty hunter. In all the time I've been playing, I have only been flagged once as wanted for friendly fire. You need to take your finger off the trigger once in a while and learn how to dog fight. If you just chase the target around with guns/ lasers blazing you are going to hit what you don't mean to hit. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude but if some of us mainly play in combat but almost never get flagged as wanted, I would suggest it's not a bug but probably your skill level. This is not meant to be an arcade game. There are consequences for your actions. In fact many of us think there should be more harshness. Take your finger off the trigger once in a while...lol. Cheers and Merry Christmas!

1 - exist a bug - time to land, is very small - stations is controled for npc fascist's, kill all in all time, no have tollerance;
2 - the interdict is aleatory, bad rebalance;
3 - the bounty no its good;
4 - is hard to new players, no have security space;
5 - The game does not offer many possibilities, although it has a huge universe.
6 -there is no memory on the computers of the ships, even a history of where you came from and where it goes;
7 -
8 - ...

Game is beta yet, sorry guys.

Depending on your standing with the particular faction interdiction rates vary.

3 - the bounty no its good;
I make between 25K and 140k for less than 3 minutes of dogfighting... I'd say that's pretty good.

4 - is hard to new players, no have security space;
New players need to understand this is Elite, it wasn't meant to be easy... hence its title... "Dangerous"
And there are plenty of safe systems.

5 - The game does not offer many possibilities, although it has a huge universe.
There are infinite possibilities within the scope of the game and the playing field. It's up to the player to make his own story and progress the way he or she wants.

Computers in Elite lore are limited. This is the universe you're playing in.

Rude no, patronising yes. It's an assumption on your behalf that I lack skills, this is merely conjecture. I look forward to running into you out there and we'll see who lacks skill.

Sadly, this does sound probable. Thank you for the heads up. + 1

I am sure there is much to be done yet, but the current stage of the game seems to me - yet - in 'beta' format, (a solid, stable but needs polishing). And you are not required to agree with this - so unnecessary rude language about what I know or not (well, I do not understand the moderators of this group are very 'permissive' with personal attacks).

About stations, there is no reason for these other NPCs attack at any moment.

On ships, are fine, but we do not see them - except from inside the cockpit, (I think this is bad for the 'playful').

This game has everything to be giant and beautiful, I love him as he is now. But for a game of this level - counting on the possibility of having more than 50,000 people logged, I would have minor updates were made more consistently, that information on these updates were posted on the launcher itself - as in EVE Online, (a good school games).

Do us all a favor and stay out of the realm of physics. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Oh and about the heating, it's done SO well. Taking into account entropy you can see it in action, when close to a star and moving away while charging FSD, once you move out of the star's area you start rapidly cooling since the space around the ship is colder and the hotter you get the stronger the cooling effect is (up to 90% fast then slow down and start cooling)
