I just saw the first few pages of "New Posts" fill up with bug-report responses saying they didn't have time and call back if it's still b0rked after release...

Hmm, I suspect the test period needs a few more weeks...

yeah they're some outstanding bugs out there.

the ones in ED are pretty dull in comparison, i say release it.

Edit: Dammit a better response would be : "Seems the worried threads are getting duplicated nearly as much as the bug reports!"

Oh I don't think Elite is doomed, or at least no more doomed than it was last week, just that there appear to be a not insignificant number of bugs. Of course, compared to that post apocalyptic launch from Bethesda, it's probably nothing.
