Thermal Overload?

OK so fired 4 beam lasers... took out his shields, then my weapons went offline and i get 'thermal overload'...

No idea what this is or how to fix :\

Ive an idea its something to do with the power plant and maybe a better one needed ?

Sounds more like a power distributor problem, as that determines weapons capacity and weapons recharge.
You fitted new guns recently ?

There is not enough power on your weapons, look to your right where the weapons, system and engine powers are. You can edit these ticks using the arrow keys. You either have to put more power into weapons during fights or get a better power distributor.

Also it seems like your ship doesn't have enough overall power either, you gotta upgrade the power plant too. Make sure when you buy stuff you take note of the overall power use and total power available on the right. You probably went over that.

Yeh i bought another 2 beam lasers.. I think the problem was i didnt have any power set to weapons ( doh overlook by me )... I upgraded power plant and distributor already. thnx for help peeps.
