Thermal vent vs Thargoids

A setup i just built for anti-AX use now comes with 3 guardian rails. Which unfortunately means that i can't fire two volleys in a row without overheating. The best fix in my eyes would be a beam laser with thermal vent. But i wonder: does that one work vs. interceptors?

Many commanders suggest this and use it. But for easier thargoids like cyclops, you can use four guardian shards, which don't get that hot.

Refit being done then. Thanks for the feedback. I just wasn't sure for Thargoids and thermal vent. Thargoids seem to ignore some limitations and mechanics which affect regular ships, so i wanted to ask before upgrading a C1 beam.
