They deserve to die !

I have spent hours and hours in a community mission in Bast and delivered almost for 8 hours or even more medcine in my Anaconda.
I gained almost nothing because the prices in the station were very low (although they owned not a single pill).
But I hoped that the reward will be great if I keep on.
So at least I reached stage B after a tremendous amount of hours.... and got ... 1.5 million?!?

Next time I will let them die for sure.. :)
Perhaps I will shoot down the humanity transports instat.
It is nothing personal, but business..

lol.....

Yep, another badly run CG and spectacularly pathetic reward. No money to be made during, none to be made after. Charity means charity. Well at least the invisible population of the station won't be dead, not that we could even tell anyway.

I made plenty of money during, haven't checked to see after- but I didn't do it for credits and I'm a smuggler. What's wrong with this picture?

I was passing through the Bast System last night and loaded up a paltry 16 tons of medical supplies in my Diamondback Explorer that I unloaded on my way through. Tell ya what... there was too many sick people hanging around I just decided to leave and not stick around.

I've put in alot of hours delivered over 44k and 3mil is my reward? that to me is an insult. I won't be participating in anymore plague CGs and as far as I am concerned it can overtake the galazy there are other games I can play. FD please fix your CGs so they are actually worth doing. I don't mind charity but that was rather ludicrous.

The slap was so hard, it knocked me off my chair. FD better make an announcement about this please. I warned yesterday about the possibility of this happening and how they need to tweak the goal and the reward so that last "slap" to the community that does goals is avoided. Previous community goals 7000 participants. This community goal 700. If this stays like this. Next one will have 70. Nice curve. Or more like... a vertical line.

Yesterday about this community goal

Gerrard Adkinson - "I hope it's before the CG is over because this seriously needs tweaks. Otherwise it might turn out that the last few hundred people that still have interest in community goals have wasted hours, heck even days of their life for nothing. A slap like that might be the last for community goals in the long run. I would really hate to see that happen especially after the wonderful success we had yesterday. Meanwhile I am loosing 100 000 credits PER TRIP delivering meds for the CG."

Considering that Imperial Slaves sell for a profit of 3500/T (or ~1.5M a trip), I'm rather glad I didn't bother with this CG.

Well at least this thread makes me feel less guilty about the 3 tonnes of personal weapons I smuggled into Bast the other night. Mind you they probably deserved it as they paid me to smuggle 20 tonnes of battle weapons into a couple of other systems...

Agree 100%, that was a complete waste of time and effort. My first and last experience of CGs. The only enjoyable part was actually seeing a lot of other human commanders for once around Hart Station, and exchanging in some friendly banter in local chat.

I hear the population of the systems where the plague wasn't stopped before didn't change so I guess all is in order : the BG simulation at its best....

Sometimes I'm glad I'm just a Space Banana.
You Humans are very weird, always on the quest for Creds and all of that...
It's sad that you can't see beyond the good deed that you did for your fellow species.
Have you ever done anything for charity?
I guess not judging by this thread...y'all should be ashamed.
:(
