Newcomer / Intro They need a que for the stations

My last two stations there's about 8 people waiting to get in Tuan being last one. I can't dock. I keep hitting the request dock button over and over but can't dock. So I wasted 10 minutes just sitting waiting to dock. Another boring aspect of the game. I have to get in there to complete a timed mission. I signed off and will go back in an hour. Is this typical? Everyone hits the dock key over and over while waiting? At least with a que they'll take next in order.

There are a couple of systems that have outposts that are absolutely way too crowded, and a few thousand systems that barely have anyone in them. It doesn't help if you have a mission to go to a specific outpost, of course, but try to get a few systems away from where you started and see if there's less traffic.

Yeahm basically, 99% of the player base needs to move out of the tiny handfull of systems you start next to and spread out into the massive game world.

Creating a que is sort of solving a non issue. systems aren't supposed to be any where near this crowded by design. It won't be like this forever. Just move somewhere else, there's literally no benefit in staying in the starting systems.

Hmm. 400 billion star systems.

Docking Queues in one.

Try moving elsewhere. Like, FAR away.

I take it from the responses that its not typical. There's the landing/docking mini game, the hyperdrive mini game, and now the docking mini game? All boring. I'm not the one who assigned everyone into a few starter systems. Why don't they assign each person to their own system if its that easy? I only have about 10 hours in this game and haven't earned very much. If you send me some hyperdrive, fuel modules or cash, maybe I can move out of the big city.

I hear a lot of experienced players suggesting everyone just find another space station. Here's the problem:

There are suddenly a lot of people who've never played before & are trying to master basics:

launching
requesting permissions
docking
launching again

I think a better solution would be, rather than expect the noobs to "hurry up & get it", that new players spawn at more various locations. Spread them out as much as need be. Problem solved.
