Thin & Incompatible Supports for any coasters should be fixed soon

Now we have quite lots of coasters in the game but one thing I'd like to see is we can create our own supports for any coasters more easily maybe Frontier can launch additional coaster supports so we can build more realistic coasters. If we want to build custom supports, we need to use so many blocks and piece to build supports for the tracks and this is very difficult because not everyone can make this. Current coaster supports are too thin and not compatible with the tracks, so they look weird and unrealistic especially for the big loop, cobra roll, etc. I feel really annoyed when the tracks go in the air without any supports or too small supports. Perhaps, Frontier can add this feature in the future DLC (Custom Supports DLC) or in the next free update if possible [wink] Hope my voice would be considered by the dev team [wink][wink][wink]

Examples of coaster supports in the game compared with real life counterparts

Giga Coaster Supports are too thin for the chain lift tracks when compared with Carowinds 300

The supports for big loops are placed in wrong position and to small

Vekoma Loop Supports : In-game Loops do not have compatible supports and a small loop does not have any supports!

ฺBakasura's Cobra Rolls lost its top supports

Dive drop and chain lift tracks have too thin supports and they look weird

Tiamat: Actually, I love this coaster but choose not to build this one in my park because of its toothpick supports :(

I hope the dev team will see and fix these issues in the near future because we want to build realistic coaster with realistic supports [heart][heart][heart]

Always cheer up and keep on your good work [up][up][up][weird]

I completely agree with all of this. I've always thought that the support system in Planet Coaster needed some work.

If it's very complex to change in-game supports, they can add more custom supports pieces so that we can build our own realistic supports [wink]

I'd HATE to complain about an amazing game. Because the developers have done an amazing job. But I must agree. The support system is a little bit flawed. There needs to be a tool for 'editing supports' because not only are they too thin (especially for HYPER COASTERS). But since the scenery does not have collision properties, the supports automatically are placed over buildings and objects.

Hopefully this can be a minor fix. I think a lot of us would appreciate a minor 'sliding scale' for a Support section. I'd like to be able to click on any support I wish, slide a support up or down a track. The same support tool that is used in No Limits. Or better yet, just give us a support DLC and we'll place it ourselves.

You're right, MindbenderATL. At least they can add the features that allow coaster supports to place on the building or anywhere automatically and the option to select the support sizes when building roller coasters so that we can select bigger supports for some parts like loop, cobra roll or chain lift for hyper coasters) Hope the devs will take this problem into account and release as minor updates soon [wink]

Oops, used the wrong photo... I'm new here, [where is it][where is it] I have no clue how to edit posts lol. [where is it][where is it][where is it]

Okay that might be asking for too much, but I thought it looked cool lol... Most coasters do have variations of different support sizes. It's not just one size fits all.. And I'm sure the :pc::blue: devs know that. Again, they've done an amazing job so far just with the standard support system, it just needs a USER friendly system that allows us to make little tweaks and modifications. [up][heart]
