1. When lifting off the rear most pad inside one of the big stations,
Rise up level with the exit. Go full throttle and boost through the exit.

2. When destroying an enemy boost through the explosion.

Quite a rush especially with headphones and the sound up!

From inside a starport, lifting off vertically from the very last pad will have you colliding with the comms tower that protrudes from the back wall, so do need to nudge forwards too.

Then again, I only learned that by needing a new paint job on one of my earlier ships, so perhaps experience is the best way to handle this.

You can also try the opposite od 1. - a.k.a. Speed docking

Or do like the guy in the Anaconda on youtube, Fly towards the entrance of the station, Turn FA off, flip around and coast in reversed. That was impressive.
