Things i hope end up in the game.

I really like this game. I just have a few ideas that i hope to see in this game.
I know space legs
I know atmospheric landing
I know cities
I know of all the things that are eventually coming to this game.


I want to land on a planet and a war is going down and its either ai or players taking it over.

Players taking over systems.....
There being different kinds of space Ports they need to take over.

I want to see combat in fsd. Is that possible?

A dedicated sales ship where people peddle wares to each other. Well i never seen trading i might be wrong to this. Or they can use this to get to the ui for missions and trading.

Maybe a ship that flies around you can do missions from. That players can use and they get money by getting players to do missions.

Idk if this exists in game but you find materials for a ship and you build it instead of purchasing it with credits.

Same thing with ship problems.

Then there is a kind of ship who just does this. Building and repairing

Escort missions not being criminal but protecting and good as well.


Player controlled missions. Player built ports. And people that are dedicated to keep the port safe and in all working order.

Bribing the police so you can get away with doing crimes.
Catching corrupt police and appointing new ones.

Ship blows up into a million pieces different all the time like war thunder.
 
2 freinds wanna play this game but they are waiting on cross play and atmosphere

They are gonna wait a long time. Because there's no indication of this coming along anytime soon. But man do i wish both of these things becomes reality.

I also want to see different types of SRVs and with that SRV AIs driving around, and ground assault and "air cover" for that ground assault. Id also like to see roads being built between close by settlements.

AI waging war on planets might be possible, but don't underestimate the complexity of that - essentially another game, but could be like combat zones in space.

Combat in FSD is not very feasible due to the distances and speeds/space distortion involved. The Interdiction mechanic is combat in FSD.

Trading goods and missions between players may or may not ever be a thing officially. There is fear of gold-farming but it already happens and some players even do charity gold-drops for others. I would not expect FD to implement this unless it is after many other prioritized features and years from now.

Building a ship on your own from scratch seems to be a stretch, I wouldn't expect that ever. But a more procedural/customizable system maybe something like Dual Universe is working on might be possible in another 10 years.

Escort missions are possible but I think FD views them as boring. But a lot of stuff in ED is essentially 'boring'.

I expect player controlled ports and player built home-bases in the future, but not player-built ports outside of FD control as these figure into the BGS and system generation (I think FD has done some work on de-coupling those as I think first iteration of mega-ships treated them as part of the system, but my memory of dev comments on that is a bit hazy so maybe not...)

Bribing Police is certainly something that should be added in the future when more PC to AI interaction is implemented. Well, let's say attempted bribery, which might or might not go the way the player wants. Catching corrupt police,,, not so much.

Ships already blow up nicely. Making that too persistent and complex would just be a non-value-added strain on our PCs since they have to track all that object position and movement data in addition to everything else going on.
