Things I learnt on the Buckyball run

Share some lessons here racers. Silly, serious or both.

I'll start with some of my own.

Don't try a run after a 12 hour shift sandwiched between 45 minutes of travel time each way

Give time for multiple runs, you will mess up the first. (And second. And third....)

Don't plan when sleepy. That flight plan that fitted together so well at 2:37am is so much scrawled trash in the cold light of day.

Station traffic control choose the worst times to forget to mark your landing pad, leaving you floating around trying to find your spot.

Learn how to post your results. The best time in the world, (which I was far from), is no good to anyone if you can't show it.
