Things I would pay $45 for... (Hint: none are landing on a lifeless Rock)

Sorry, this is JMHO.

Things I would pay $45 for:

1. PUSH 2 TALK (not push to mute). <--- Strike this. Must've missed that in the update changelogs somewhere along the line... I rejoice!
2. Wing mechanics that don't incur a time/credit penalty for escorting freighters.
3. Player driven economy enabled by a crafting system which in turn would promote a reason to mine, or to even trade in something other than Palladium and Imperial Slaves.
4. A mission system that's ummmm...... Fun!
5. Inclusion of more Voices... voices that tell me simple things like: "You're clear for landing on pad 7', "You're cleared for departure", "You're about to be scanned", or "I'm a pirate... ARRRR!"
6. An Ironman server (Death = Start Over).
7. The separation of open and solo mode into two separate games with two separate characters, unable to influence each other.
8. Ability to trade items and credits between CMDRs.
9. Support for Guilds / Clans / Groups, along with player-controlled factions and regions of space.
10. Ability to walk around stations and ships.
11. Multicrew ships that actually support multiple players in them.
12. Chat bubbles and emotes. :D
13. A location to store modules I've already purchased but don't want to sell back. (personal hangar?)
14. A way to transport modules from one place to another in the cargo bay of a bigger ship and then install them on another ship stored at the docked location.
15. Ship relocation.

Ya know, if Horizons would include Atmospheric Landings on the final chapter of the 'season' I would buy it.... but NO WAY am I paying for 'Planetary Landings' TWICE!

Couldn't ... Agree ... More....

They released this game unfinished, and I bought it with the hopes that it would improve. Please don't insult my intelligence by asking me to pay for a beta expansion pack. If FD really needs this money to fund the games development, they should have started with a more feasible business model.

A lot of that is already going to happen later. A lot of it never is. Some of it is just you not liking things the way other people do. If you can't live with the game the way it turns out--which is based partly on the plans of the FD team, and partly on the desires of thousands of people most of whom don't agree with you--play something else.

Yeah, agreed. what are there, like 5 let's-all-hate-Horizons gripe threads now? I'd pay just to get them all shut down.

Yes, God forbid anyone voices an opinion that you disagree with. SILENCE THE VOICES!!!

THIS. That being said, the expansion wont only add planetary landings to the game, so we can always hope.

Sounds good to me.

You guys... the price is to get the people who are hyped for PL to pay rediculous amounts. They will do a pre launch sale like always, so just wait for the price to drop. They know some people will fall for the hype now so theyre taking advantage of that.

It's not like you get anything for pre ordering
It's all good

Just wait it out mateys

Things I already gladly payed £200 for during the Kickstarter:

1. Planetary Landings

There was probably something else too, but I can't remember right now.

:D

I mean no disrespect, honestly I don't. However threads popping up like mushrooms complaining about how a company earns it's money is kind of meh?
If you don't like it, don't buy it, vote with your money. Yelling at clouds is not helping at all.

2. Atmospheric Planetary Landings?

:D

I got a lifetime expansion pass and patience. It's all good! :D

I never expected atmospheric landings in the first expansion (since that is how I've always interpreted their comments about a staged release of these features).

The universe wasn't built in a day. It actually took 13.82 billion years.

Let's give FD a couple of years at least! :D

the case is that that most ppl would like to give this game a chance but not with this attitude and pricing (better to say overpricing) policy. because it is not normal

Not yelling at clouds here. Simply stating what I would like to spend $45 dollars on... so yes, in essence I am voting with my $$$.

As far as Horizons is concerned, I will see how it develops. Maybe after 2.3 there will be enough added that I will feel that $45 is justified, but right now I just don't see it (especially after how AWESOME the PowerPlay update went).... and according to what I heard today from DB, MD and SS most of my wishlist won't be touched on for another 2 seasons... 2 years.
Perhaps after 2 more years I will be purchasing a second account with access to 3 expansions.

Time will tell.
