Okay, so maybe a list of things I'd like to see in the online cosmetics shop is an odd sort of suggestion, but why not?

>Alternate voices for the onboard computer.
Probably a lot of work to implement, and don't get me wrong, I love the one there is right now, but it'd still be a neat option

>Laser focusing crystals.
Not to change the stats or anything, just the color of the pulse/beam. I know at least one or two people who'd shell out a buck or two to make their lasers green or purple.

On the same token, different color tracers for kinetic weapons are also a possibility I suppose.

To change the color of the ship's engine plume. Or maybe even the color of missile contrails.

Soooo yeah, just a few offhand thoughts of other cosmetic items that would tempt some wallets, my own included.

Honestly? I'll pay for whatever looks interesting. It could be a flower pot in the passenger seat or an "Elite" hangar pass that sticks me in a "members only" hangar whenever I dock. Extra points if another player can see my pot of flowers

I'd pay for the ability to custom skin my ship, not off the shelf, but (if anyone has played) need for speed style paint shop etc. No i'd not be getting spinners or underglow neon on the ship....well....

I'd definitely like to be able to recolour any of the standard elite designs, having bought the design first... because I might want something other than a selection between red/white, orange/white and blue/white.

that and being able to create custom decal designs to overlay would be amazing, I'd even be willing to upload to store for others to buy!

The only problem with changing too many things on the outside of your ship. Is that it will use more computing power for each add on. Now with that in mind changing the color or layout of the cockpit would not change anything for the other players. If you think about that each time you see another ship the server and your computer must load the detail of the ship. Now if you multiply that with how many ships are out there. That would be a lot of computing power. Esp if every one starts tweaking the color and look of each detail.

Nice ideas. I'm all against cash for credits but this kind of thing gets a thumbs up from me. Good job sir.
